Over the Hill Birthday Card

Ageing gracefully is overrated, so this birthday card takes a more practical view. A tiny illustrated figure stands proudly on top of a hill beneath the message “Better to Be Over the Hill Than Under It”, offering encouragement with just enough sarcasm to keep things believable.

It is ideal for milestone birthdays, new decades and friends or relatives who appreciate dry humour more than sentimental speeches. The minimalist design lets the joke do the work, while the blank inside provides room for genuine birthday wishes, another age-related observation or a tactful apology for mentioning the hill at all.

This square card measures approximately 148 × 148mm and is printed on 350gsm white silk cardstock. A kraft envelope is included for posting or presenting in person. Created by Richard Darani and printed in the UK, it is positive, cheeky and considerably kinder than counting the candles. No hiking boots are necessary.
